Stormtech Magnum- Beta 0.1.9 Released (featureUpdate + bugFix)

This is an another update for Magnum Beta following version 0.1.4 which is a feature update and contains few bug fixes.

About the Project

Magnum Project is written entirely in C#. It is based on Edge-Chakra-Engine which is one of the most modern and CPU efficient engine, when it comes to comparing with Chrome or Firefox. Anyways, I can't compare my small project with these commercial browsers.

Magnum is an UWP project (Universal Windows Platform) which means that it will run on any device running Windows 10, irrespective of device memory limitations or screen size.

Features that are added in this release-

It is a very big amusement for me to make such a long list of new features that Magnum will support on this release. Major features added to Magnum-

• Added YouTube Downloader, a blue button will appear on youtube pages if a valid video is found.
• Updated Download engine to have better track of ongoing downloads and store past downloads history.
• Added support to download files as per user demand- have default download location or make it ask for download location each time.
• Support to bind/categorize  History content as per navigation time-date in History Page.
• Improved Library UI, added swipe gestures to navigate between library pages- Bookmarks, History and Downloads.
• Replaced default URL box with new URL box to show suggestions as per past navigations.

Bug Fixes from previous releases-

While debugging I found some bugs in the app and few that were complained by my friends. These are the few bugs I was able to solve in this release-

• Fixed back button navigation that used to get stuck in an infinite page switching.
• Fixed file naming while downloading contents, which used to prevent current download operation to get cancelled due to illegal file names.
• Fixed sudden crashing while navigating too fast between pages.

Probable features to be included in future releases-

Apart from working hard, I'm trying to include few more developers by asking my friends. Having only single developer, it is going to take a little longer for Magnum to have stable release in near future. These are the features that you'll see in next releases-

• AdBlock Extension
• User Agent Switcher
• VPN Plugin
• Integrated torrent engine
